Wacky that this and “Little Shop” came out the same year and both are about a comic-voice freako who gets you what you want in exchange for murder. Elmer even says “Feed me!” “From Beyond” is more implicit in how it’s the resonance itself that makes people risk others for a quick and dirty high.
