    "text": "I think they were also buying the nixing of all sorts of investigations, good citizen stuff, and scrutiny.  Secondarily, I've wondered if they weren't also trying to gain leverage over the EU, which has been strict with US tech co's. Removal of tariffs is future leverage.",
