There’s a story about Mitch Hepburn, then Premier of Ontario, facing a crowd of farmers angry about the expense of mandatory pasteurization. He picked a guy out of the crowd and said “I know you — how many kids have you got?” Man said he had six. Mitch said “Didn’t you used to have seven?”
