Experimental browser for the Atmosphere
One reason (not to prefer NOAA's, but to not ignore it) is that the lower two (NOAA and NASA) use a different SST dataset (ERSST) than Berkeley and HadCRUT (which use HadSST). So the spread reflects SST uncertainty that we need to communicate. But saying 1.2 downplays this in the other direction...
