Cats that won't want you to pet them, play with them, or even look at them?\nMeet Bitey & Lighty! This sibling sister pair were dumped with their third sister, Mimi, on the road to the Mendocino Coast Humane Society. After a brief brush with ringworm, they've been cleared to re-enter the world as the very feral cats that they are. They are roughly 6 months old, fully vaccinated and sterilized, microchipped, and with ear tips to indicate that they are sterilized ferals. They have excellent history using a litter box, though they would definitely be happiest as outdoor cats.\nBitey was given her name because while she is the friendlier of the pair, she is still pretty confused about how to interact with humans, and mostly expresses herself through (gently) biting. She actually enjoys being petted while she is eating, but she has not learned yet that biting is not the way to win friends, and she hates to be picked up. Her hobbies are running up to greet her feeder, and then biting their shoe, or once, butt cheek, and hissing at her sisters.\nWe are still waiting to discover what Lighty's hobbies are. She is an incredibly shy girl, so we can assume that she enjoys quiet corners, long stretches of time alone, and solitude. We think she enjoys Bitey's company, but to be honest, Bitey isn't the best company, so she'll probably decide that she likes you more.\nThese two would make excellent barn cats for pest control, and while they both have their setbacks, they also have the potential to become sweet and socialized through a little bit of patience and love. Mimi, their third sister, was also initially very hostile, and over the past six weeks she has acclimated amazingly and is now ready to be adopted as a regular pet.\nBitey & Lighty aren't the easiest cats to love, but they still are very special, and they have a lot of potential.
