My latest from #AGU24: New results from NASA's Juno spacecraft show that Europa has a surprisingly, shockingly thick icy crust. Like, 35 kilometers thick. If the findings hold, they could complicate studies of the moon's salty interior ocean--including by the $5B Europa Clipper, now on the way.
