The goat grazing project is a collaboration between the Old lrish Goat Society and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council. The goats will be managed by the Old lrish Goat Herder with the help of some local volunteers. All stock will\nbe managed closely by the Herder, with added monitoring using NoFence GPS tracking collars, and as an extra precaution at Killiney Hill, there will also be a physical and electric fence in place for herd safety.\nThese goats will play an important role in managing vegetation growth to reduce\nfire risk to residents of the surrounding areas and also offering opportunities to\nenhance the biodiversity of Killiney Hill, including important and protected\nhabitats such as heath, wet grassland and other habitats. The Old lrish goat will provide a more sustainable solution to managing the vegetation for fire risk and also enhance our habitats and biodiversity on Killiney Hill.\"\n",
