It takes the number one spot in Benin and Mozambique. Across the continent, six in 10 respondents (61%) lament their government’s poor performance in providing water and sanitation services.\n\nMeanwhile, almost half (47%) of Africans say droughts have intensified in their region over the past 10 years, worst in Madagascar (86%), Cabo Verde (80%), and Niger (73%).",
