In an ordinary year, 1 in 3 Nigerian women will suffer domestic violence. When the world stayed at home trying to survive the Covid-19 pandemic, the violence got a lot worse for women whose homes were already unsafe. Betty Abah did something about it: she opened Hearts of Hope Shelter in Lagos.
