Australian blindsnakes didn't show pleomerism, but a correlation between vertebra ratio & body shape! Narrow-and-long species generally have more vertebrae for their max. length, and these were typically found in areas with higher temperatures! Read the full paper (3/3) ๐งช๐ academic.oup.com/evo...
