While the study of xenos species is largely prohibited, there are a few exceptions. The inquisitors or the Ordo Xenos, the Deathwatch, and select members of the Sororitas and Astartes all perform analysis, mostly to identify weaknesses to be exploited. The Mechanicus seeks knowledge. 2/
