That sounds high. But it would have to be over $20/hr/ at least. I started work at $1.70/hr. in 1973. By 1980 it was $3.00/hr. When Catholic MSGR. John Ryan backed the first such bill in Wisconsin in 1905, it was called "Living Wage." We are doing dirt to future generations if we don't fix this.
