The past couple of days I've posted samples from Dynamite's "Superheroes Confidential" feature. There was another magazine available to school-aged children through book orders, c. the early-mid 1970s: Smash. We lived in Milwaukee 1973-76, and I got that mag. Below is an example of their version:
