Tokens or dice representing each PC are placed in a bag along with a single one for NPCs; Initiative order for each round is determined by drawing from the bag. The dynamic nature of it appeals to me as it reflects the frantic nature of combat as well as keeping my players attentive on who’s next. 🧵
