To be clear: I don't mean it suggested that Doyle could be read using Sartrean ideas. I mean that it explicitly stated that a mention of 'Jean Paul' in *The Sign of Four* (1890) was a reference to Sartre (born 1905). Or: the curious incident of the editor in the night-time.
