Experimental browser for the Atmosphere
This is one of my favorite ways of illustrating the relationship between theory and prediction. In the past I've referred to it as the 'Neptune-Mercury Dilemma': does a discrepancy between theory and measurement imply a testable prediction or a flaw in the theory? Only time and effort will tell.
