Sea ice continued to be around 0.5-1 meter thinner than the 1981-2010 average during April 2025. There's some notable anomalies in the Kara Sea basin, which will be helpful to monitor as the #Arctic melt season really begins to accelerate later this month. More visuals: zacklabe.com/arctic-sea-i...
