“Madero” means timber. Spanish uses diminutives like -in/-ina to express how a subject is small or cute, so a cute little piece of timber would be “maderín”. Omit the “ma-“ and, voila! Derín✨ 👉 References the puppet's wood 👉 Stays close to the original "Drev" 👉 And even sounds like an actual name!
