As someone who gave up on the Simpsons after about series 12, it was always so obvious to me Bart had ADHD (especially when watching Bart Gets an F). I had NO idea that Bart actually was diagnosed with ADHD in a much later series, and I feel very vindicated. This was a good decision by the writers.
