The back of the owl's head is flat against the towel, giving it the appearance of recoiling, or looking down its beak and judging the viewer. \n\nThe owl's head is a trapezoidal shape; a flat top with a wide neck that broadens toward its wings. The feathers are a two-tone mix of light and dark shades of grey. Its forehead is mottled with light spots.
