Despite liking Skyrim as a game, I generally dislike most of its lore. It doesn't really commit to any one vision of what the Fourth Era is. Is the Empire strong enough to face the Dominion or in terminal decline? Is the Imperial Cult widespread and strong or so weak that Cyrodiil abandons Talos?
