My 5th grade son and I just watched Alien and Aliens. Damn, these movies hold up. As a kid, I liked Fincher’s dark Alien 3 and the goofy Alien Resurrection, but as an adult, I almost want him to think (the optimistic) ending of Aliens is how Ripley’s story ends.
