    "text": "Fellow WindowMaker kid here. E was indeed cooler but ultimately too weird for me. I didn't learn until years later it was trying to clone the NeXTSTEP interface. I think KDE existed already but it was too slow for my crappy computer and its pokey Cyrix 6x86 processor.",
