Incidentally, Snoopy was a pretty random mascot for an insurance company, but one time it was put to good use. An ad in the wake of the 1987 crash showed Snoopy typing: "It was a dark & stormy night A shot rang out A maid screamed The market crashed" And then a spiel about financial security.
