Hi, orientation goes from 0 deg (a vertical grating), through 90 deg (a horizontal grating), to 180 deg (vertical again). In a polar plot these numbers can be a bit confusing because 0 appears East and 90 appears West (rather than North). That's because the range is 0-180 rather than 0-360.
