At one point while visiting the parents, there was a convo with my dad where he finally realized I literally have no roots. "When ppl ask, where do you say youre from?" "From...Germany?" "No like, 'I'm from City, State'" "Germany. Maybe Here, but that's more bc this is the longest place we stayed."
