I’m going to publish one with my colleagues later this year, but it’s astonishing how much enthusiasm there is for nontraditional apprenticeships in fields like IT and healthcare despite having zero causal estimates. The raw outcomes are promising, I’m not worried. But we’re coasting on old data.
