          "alt": "Delightful, brisk throwback RPG with plenty new to offer.\n\nYou get just enough dialogue to add color to the world and contextualize what you're doing.\nYou zip from town to town, do a little quest in each, usually involving a short gauntlet of battles and a boss, then move on.\nEach town is a naive, fantastical take on a real-world location. Very refreshing.\n\nLots of cute gameplay ideas, like every player character having a unique resource to manage alongside MP.\nHas a reasonable, gradual difficulty curve. Characters have powerful status ailments, buffs, and stuns that you gotta use to win. If you rely on auto-attacks and play loss-averse, you'll bleed out resources.\nThere are no random encounters, and losing a battle respawns you directly before the fight at low health. It's easier than I prefer.\nBut battles are appropriately tuned around this and the ability to respec freely outside battle. You'll be moving skill points around from area to area to better handle specific enemy types. So the game leverages its quality of life features to make individual battles harder and swingier than a more traditional RPG can accommodate, which is thoughtful.",
