Gpt4 took 25000 A100's for 100 days. An A100 peak TDP is 400W. That maths out to around 24gwh, lets assume theres ~50% overhead and say its 36gwh. Thats roughly equivalent to the *home* power consumption of 3000 people for a year, or 0.0000009% of americas residential power consumption for the year
