My favorite dataset. For 65 years, it has recorded the seasonal breathing of the Earth due to photosynthesis & respiration, the steady rise of CO2 from burning fossil fuels, and year-to-year changes from factors like El Nino. Losing it & other atmospheric monitoring would handicap future discovery.
