Among the many tributes to David Lynch, perhaps my favorite comes from Martin Short, who inexplicably plays him as a kind of Greek chorus in Jiminy Glick in Lalawood. It’s done with a real reverence—a jocular needling—for a man who made a real impact on the cinema as we know it.
