Could BRIC countries undermine the U.S. $ as the global reserve currency? The dollar represents roughly 58% of the world’s foreign exchange reserves. Trump has now threatened 100% tariffs on the BRIC bloc of nations if they act to undermine U.S. dollar. This even as the alliance gets larger.
