Many people don't understand the ideas "Cost of Goods Sold", "Income", "Profit" and "Profit Margin". That explains a lot about why they think that a company can absorb the tariffs. Even DJT, Sr. doesn't seem to understand -- he consistently says companies won't pass along the tariffs.
