When I wrote the "Down with the BRT" post, I was thinking about projects along the Van Ness BRT. If you look at the infrastructure that matters for bus performance, it's absolutely minimal. But because it's "BRT", it took 20 years of planning and building. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Van_Nes...
