When we started our oak savanna restoration experiment at the MSU MacCready Reserve, I couldn't see half way up this hillside, following decades of fire suppression and woody encroachment After 15 years of prescribed fires and tree thinning, it's now covered in blooming blue eyed grass. #Progress
