They cannot afford the tariffs. Big corporations will be fine.\nEvery independently run small company that's already operating on terrible margins is going to shut down or be bought out.\nThe Apples and Amazons and Metas are going absorb the losses.\nIf anything, consolidation is going to accelerate. Larger corporations that can't absorb the costs will fold into mega conglomerates.\nThe worst part about all this is people still won't have jobs. There will be fewer jobs. Those manufacturing jobs are going to machines.\nIf you want a dark timeline Cyberpunk future, here it is.\n- Inevitable West\n@Inevitablewest • 4h\nReplying to@stillgray @BillAckman and @realDonaldTrump\nIsn't it the opposite? - probably 95% of the corporations most affected by tariffs are outsourcing from foreign countries. They're in for the long haul.\nDonald J. Trump\n@realDonald Trump\nWe have massive Financial Deficits with China, the European Union, and many others. The only way this problem can be cured is with TARIFFS, which are now bringing Tens of Billions of Dollars into the U.S.A. They are already in effect, and a beautiful thing to behold. The Surplus with these Countries has grown during the\n\"Presidency\" of Sleepy Joe Biden. We are going to reverse it, and reverse it QUICKLY.\nSome day people will realize that Tariffs, for the United States of America, are a very beautiful thing!\n3 ReTruths 7 Likes\n4/6/25, 4:20 PM\n@ 52\nt2 55\n• 302\n1hl 25K",
