Another hour of hacking and we have decent CDROM speeds equivalent to a bit more than a 2X drive. Here it is running the intro FMV to Mechwarrior 2 with simultaneous Sound Blaster and CDROM. Need to tweak things still, since the CDROM reading is starving the audio playback (hence the audio stutter)
