He said in an interview that his character in Slow Horses is perhaps most like himself IRL. Since the guy is incredibly rude and cynical (not to mention flatulent!) that's a bit discouraging.😟 But otherwise, I agree about his being a chameleon. I loved him as Beethoven and Churchill. He's amazing!
