    "text": "I don’t think it’s quite as clear cut as that.\n\nIf you look at the delta of now vs before (UiKit, Views), Android made a _much_ bigger jump imo. \n\nAndroid views became an absolute mess due to fragmentation. We did a lot to paper over the cracks (AppCompat, etc) but it’s still a mess.",
