Experimental browser for the Atmosphere
It strikes me that the "they are just theoretical posits" argument leaves out the history of recognizing that all empirical observations are theory-laden. Do these papers engage with the history of physics at all? When did electrons stop being theoretical posits? Arguably we still don't 'see' them.
