I've opted for a pretty restrictive policy:\r\n\r\n1. Record visibility is strictly opt-in at the repository level, though when I have more bandwidth I may go to the collection level, or even specific NSIDs.\r\n2. When users interact with any content that has ever touched an inactive user, the system cannot observe it. I.e. if you are active and quote an active friend's reply to an inactive user, then none of that content is usable.\r\n3. You may opt-out at any time, and this will remove all of your content as well as any processed data that is derived from your content.\r\n\r\nMy problem is a little simpler because I'm not (yet) fine-tuning a model, as it's very difficult to remove your content from the model once it has been trained. My personal preference is for strict opt-in systems but that is usually not common in privacy issues like this.", "createdAt": "2025-03-14T20:16:41.571Z" } }
