All jokes aside, it’s messed up that SHEIN and Temu avoided hundreds of millions in taxes annually that The Gap and other retailers paid b/c of a loophole from the 1930s. Ending the de minimis exemption makes sense even if you don’t care about forced labor or environmental damage in fast fashion.
