The temporal resolution of the hemodynamic response is what it is. IMO, it's limited if you want to use it as a proxy for local field potentials (as a proxy, in turn, for neural signaling). But it could be meaningful on its own terms too! Or as a proxy for other events (e.g. local metabolic shifts)
