Answering my own question because I should have read the article before asking: Yes, biofuels are worse than traditional The real solutions are 1) fly less 2) make biofuels from stuff that would be wasted otherwise 3) synthetic e-fuels 4) batteries 5) hydrogen No easy answers, but a few paths to try
