Great thread from Ang Honeybourne. Toxic & chronic stress play a huge part in the way dogs cope with the world. There is evidence that dogs can exhibit PTSD like symptoms as a result of trauma. They also seem to develop expectations and anticipate outcomes which amounts to optimism or pessimism!
