    "text": "My grandfather was Yugoslavian. As I've written before, his actual role and actions during WW2 are unclear. He rarely spoke of them. The one constant was that at some point the Nazis tried to kill him. He was shot several times and somehow survived, going on to emigrate to Britain & found my family.",
