Eventually, I got in, and was thankful that the panel room itself had A/C! The space was huge, but even so, it was filled-out almost to its 700 person capacity by the time the activities got underway. Instead of engaging with the school activities, though, I caught up with Randall and my new friend Z, along with several others. I was so touched that many people came up to me and said how much they enjoyed my stories; one person said I articulate many aspects of the huffy themes I write about very well. That people had sought me out to express such encouraging sentiment meant a lot to me, and was extremely validating in showing that my writing was being appreciated by others. After about and hour, though, I was really tired. I feel the panel was too late in the evening for my taste, especially as I was still somewhat jet lagged. Thus, I went to bed just after 1am.\nDay 4 - Saturday\nSaturday morning was a big one for me. With the fursuit mingle taking place at 10.30am, I planned to fullsuit for the first time ever at a convention. Thus, I dutifully started the day by putting everything on and heading downstairs, hoping that a good amount of fursuiters would turn up. Unfortunately, it proved not to be the case. While there were certainly several hundred, it was clear that the event was too early in the morning for most fursuiters to attend - most would likely have been asleep. While I spent time with Bluefire and Kres, it was generally a wash-out, with barely a quarter of the room filled for the big fursuit photo. Nonetheless I joined in with the fox group photo, before spending some time in the lobby to see who else was around, and finally heading upstairs after an hour and a half. While I could have gone longer, I needed to get ready for the next of my …", "image": { "$type": "blob", "ref": { "$link": "bafkreicaeawzbyueyauggtxma4ewjer24iwczo3mn3ypshbtw2ohncfw5e" }, "mimeType": "image/jpeg", "size": 593164 }, "aspectRatio": { "width": 1167, "height": 1315 } }, { "alt": "brisket and pulled pork with baked beans and Fox-a-roni (a variation on rice-a-roni); meanwhile Bluefire introduced me to a Frito pie, while Astro, Terry, Electro, and Kres each had amazing looking trays of food themselves. I left a couple of my stickers around the restaurant too, as the walls were plastered with them; hopefully they will be there next year, as I absolutely intend to return!\nAs Saturday evening rolled in, I moved on to yet another planned activity: assisting Hroar and acting as a co-exhibitor with him for the Moonlight Festival. The puppy had a great setup this year: hooded and bound to a St Andrew's cross, with a buzzy toy strapped to his bits, and a vibrating plug under his tail, each of which could be controlled by participants as they desired. Having assisted Hroar with a different form of bondage at the same event last year, I was very excited to do so again, and share this aspect of kink with the attendees. Unfortunately, the attendees failed to materialise for the first hour and a half that we were there. Despite seeing various group chats discussing how long the Moonlight Festival line was, nobody was actually arriving. However, when the line did begin to move and the space filled up, we then proved to be a popular exhibit. My job was to support Hroar's safety (i.e. ensuring boundaries were respected and acting as his eyes), and explain to attendees how they could engage with him. I also found myself being asked questions about BDSM more widely, something which I hadn't anticipated. It was great to see so many taking the opportunity to learn a bit more about it though, and in future years I may try to prepare a little more to say on BDSM practice. I also loved showing off my outfit that evening: my petsuit, pup hood, and a diaper taped over my petsuit. I think it looked fantastic, and I hope it went some way to representing my favourite kink within the Moonlight Festival context, as well as showing that diaperfurs can be dominant, despite so…", "image": { "$type": "blob", "ref": { "$link": "bafkreibxywymsejwjlsbjbyxx2phcvi6bhwzrt6wvbj7x7atposciyueam" }, "mimeType": "image/jpeg", "size": 595033 }, "aspectRatio": { "width": 1145, "height": 1333 } }, { "alt": "usually are at cons. Luckily Crossy Shadow was awake, as well as, very excitingly, Asa, another crossy friend, who had managed to come to the con at the last minute. So, Shadow and I headed down to the food court to meet him, whereupon we happened across an outlet that served me a croissant smothered in melted chocolate, which was genuinely lovely, if incredibly unhealthy and sugary! After breakfast, wanting to partial for a bit, I headed back up to my room to grab my suit. Upon reaching the lobby, I came across Jamage and Atsu, who were using some suiting time to warm up for the dance competition that afternoon. They nonetheless wanted to say hello, and we got a few photos together. After a good hour or so, knowing that I was to be fullsuiting all afternoon, I forced myself to get some more food with some lunch in the food court. I happened to be noticed by Ryuu, and so I sat with him and his roommates and talked Doctor Who among other topics. \nIt was then back to the room to once again don my wonderful fursuit. To start, I headed down to floor 10 where the cross fox meetup was happening. It is always a delight to catch up with them, as I don't often get the chance to see most outside of these small (and usually brief) convention meets; it was so wonderful to receive compliments from many of them on my new suit. After the crossy group photo, I was then lucky enough to be joined by many of my friends in their suits to take a few photos to celebrate my convention debut - it touched me so deeply to see how many took the time and effort to come along just to help me commemorate this occasion, along with those who volunteered to act as the photographers for this little meetup. My one regret here was that there were so many of my friends, and fellow crossies, that I was extremely time-poor to have many meaningful or extended interactions, as much as I would have liked to. Nonetheless, after Caled and Krev took a few solo shots for me, I then went on to full suit for a to…", "image": { "$type": "blob", "ref": { "$link": "bafkreigree4vsykzk7mchikteobhbn6rgc3rpk6dvtuh5ejb5ctcq5jcm4" }, "mimeType": "image/jpeg", "size": 657534 }, "aspectRatio": { "width": 1157, "height": 1323 } }, { "alt": "I spent about 45 minutes retracing my steps to no avail. So, figuring my only chance was to report it to Lost and Found, I headed down there with an incredibly worries feeling in the pit of my stomach. In an incredible stroke of luck, someone had picked it up and already handed it in. My relief was palpable, to the point where I went straight to the bar and had a drink with Tyler to help myself feel better. Lesson learned: I will be buying some sew-on labels for each of my fursuit components, so that if anything goes missing in the future, my Telegram information will be on there for people to message me directly.\nAfter showering in my room, I spent the next few hours with Ky and Tyler. These two are incredibly important friends to me: they guided me through my first con at Megaplex 2023, showing me the ropes, and generously giving me their time to help me out. Fast forward to 2025, and this continues to be the case. The three of us went to a great Chinese place for dinner, before going back to their room and cuddling for a while. When Shadow and Asa came back to the room, we watched them play with a popsicle fursuit fan for half an hour. \nEventually it was time to wrap up the convention, and I knew I wanted to take my fursuit out one last time. With the other components either packed or drying, I took only my head, and partialled for a bit, before attending the Pants Off party, which was a great place to catch up with lots of my friends before the end of the con - although, with my exhaustion, I somewhat struggled to get into the mood, even though my diaper was perfect for snoofs or other activities. In any case, it was the perfect opportunity to see various furs one last time, and I had some good conversation and more lovely compliments on my new suit. It also has to be said that Sneppy Shadow was looking out for me while I was there, a fact that I feel I could have expressed appreciation for more at the time, but I was really grateful that he was around to provid…", "image": { "$type": "blob", "ref": { "$link": "bafkreigv3kehwwxfcn5bhmphouonudq2krx6ljs5mjfzmczs42z2svc3bq" }, "mimeType": "image/jpeg", "size": 612921 }, "aspectRatio": { "width": 1153, "height": 1335 } } ] }, "langs": [ "en" ], "reply": { "root": { "cid": "bafyreif63mroszsvz2kcb2qptpdbvjeklktlyxlfoqpbtcvq7nsab46b3i", "uri": "at://did:plc:vvhrsxnz3vteuxjamyhlc6tq/app.bsky.feed.post/3lp7nhadvtc2p" }, "parent": { "cid": "bafyreif63mroszsvz2kcb2qptpdbvjeklktlyxlfoqpbtcvq7nsab46b3i", "uri": "at://did:plc:vvhrsxnz3vteuxjamyhlc6tq/app.bsky.feed.post/3lp7nhadvtc2p" } }, "createdAt": "2025-05-15T13:43:39.103Z" } }
