This is the most idiotic take, ever. Dismantling a department like USAID is a test for if they can dismantle other, more obviously impactful departments like NOAA and the National Weather Service. Also, USAID isn’t mere charity: it’s an incredibly powerful, but inexpensive, diplomatic tool.
