New paper on European blocking just out: rmets.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.... Quite surprising - we looked at how blocking depends on physical parameters in a model and found very few sensitivities - only to convection in summer and to drag in winter. @cfmcswede.bsky.social
