The Tories tried being a UKIP/BXP/REFUK tribute act, and it went very badly for them. Now Labour is having a lame go at being a UKIP/BXP/REFUK tribute act, and it’s going badly. It’s almost like there’s no point being a tribute act when someone else does it better. Why not have different policies?
